Based on a long-ago tip from @durhamfoodie, and encouragement from my stylista co-worker Janie, we managed to get up the road (along Roxboro) to Durham’s Saigon Grill. We started with spring rolls (#2), which were fresh and crisp and leafy! Mine had strips of pork, mint, and vermicelli inside.
My entree was the grilled pork noodle salad, or bun (#18), which I really enjoyed. It was enough for two meals. My table-mates enjoyed the chicken pho and the stir-fried vegetables with chicken.
I can’t wait to go back and explore more Vietnamese food.
