Celebrate National Donut Day in the Triangle

You may or may not know that the happiest day of the year is tomorrow! Yes, that is National Donut Day. So in honor of the day that celebrates my favorite pastry, let’s review your options.

Daylight Donuts, my most favoritest place in the Triangle to get donuts, is offering 10% off all donut orders tomorrow. So make sure if you haven’t sampled their mom-and-pop-style cakey donut that you head over there and pay them a visit. There is a location in Wake Forest off Main and another on Creedmoor Road in North Raleigh.

If you live in Durham you won’t be able to get any Daylight Donuts, but you can try some supreme craft donuts (and biscuits) at Rise, which is located right behind Southpoint Mall. Or get one of Monut’s dozen donuts for $15 in honor of the day.

For those lovers of mushy dissolve-in-your-mouth donuts, Krispy Kreme is also offering free donuts tomorrow.

Dunkin’ Donuts is offering a free donut with the purchase of a drink on Friday.

From now through June 15, Entenmann’s is donating $1 to the Salvation Army for everyone who likes the company’s Facebook page. It has also launched a Donut Day sweepstakes, where you could potentially win free Entenmann’s donuts for a year.
