Motivated Monday – Simply 500 from Zoe’s

We stopped in to Zöe’s in North Hills, looking for a healthy lunch. I was pleased to see this under 500 calorie ordering guide, which has the gluten free menu on the back. I decided to try the shrimp kabob meal.

It was seasoned shrimp and zucchini kabobs along with a small one ounce container of hummus. It came with a greek salad with feta on top and was a really filling meal for only 450 calories. Some of the other options look amazing too.

Like the grüben, the turkey reuben filled with grilled turkey, swiss, slaw, and spicy mustard on rye. Or the grilled chicken marinara over vegetables.

Hubby got the chicken salad plate, which strangely mixes the fruit on top of the lettuce and chicken salad. But he stilled enjoyed it.

I’ve been enjoying Mediterranean food a lot lately, but my local favorites don’t have the calorie info or the special serving sizes. I appreciate having so many options at Zöe’s.
