Bosphorus

5 out of 5 stars

If you wander aimlessly away from the Cary Amtrak station in just the right direction (North on Harrison), you could easily end up at Bosphorus. And I think that would be a lovely place to be, especially when it’s patio weather.

I’d recommend you try out the pide pizza if you’re in the mood for something indulgent. They’ll ask you if you want an egg on your pepperoni pide and you should say yes. You’ll end up with a artfully crafted little canoe of a meal. It’ll be hard to finish all that pide though, after you’ll munched on some fresh and doughy pita hot out of the oven, and the olive oil tomato and spice combination for dipping.

For my lunch forays, I normally opt for one of the kebabs, which comes over a bed of bulgar pilaf.

I always end up here at lunchtime, although they also serve dinner and do takeout. Service is friendly, and the food tastes so fresh. Just remember that they are closed on Mondays! They accept credit cards.

  • I like Bosphorus too. I need to try the pide – that looks good.
