Update: Pelican downgraded! 

The old review is below but the last two times I went to Pelican were bad.  The food was horrible last time, not near their usual quality.  I won't go back! 

Pelican – Top honors for eggs benedict

Eggs benedict is one of the breakfasts I may choose to eat every day for the rest of my life. Ok, so I would alternate between that and country fried steak. This place has some of the top eggs benedicts in the county. They also have a eggs benedict special every day. While the place is tiny and seating is at a premium, service is good and prices are low. Definitely check this lovely breakfast place out for some well-prepared and unique breakfast options.  There is also a unique seating option- a bar-type counter that looks out onto the street.
