Date Nut Bars
| 2 | eggs |
| 1/2 | cup flour |
| 1 | cup chopped dates |
| 1 | cup chopped walnuts |
| 1 | teaspoon baking powder |
| 1 | cup brown sugar |
| 1 | teaspoon vanilla |
| 1/2 | cup confectioners' sugar (approx.) |
- Mix all ingredients, then bake in greased layer cake pans or square pans at 375 degrees for 35 minutes.
- Cool for 15 minutes, then slice into squares and roll bars in confectioner's sugar so they don't stick together when stored.
