Sande’s Restaurant

3 out of 5 stars

Cash-only breakfast standby

Sande's has decent food at decent prices, and is another one of the good diner places one can go to for breakfast. It's right near the Swap Shop, so if you are into the flea market scene it might be an ideal place to check out.  It's cash only but they  have a small ATM.

One of the downers about Sande's is that they have carton pasteurized OJ that is not what we Floridians come to expect. They do have mimosas, however, so if you're in the mood for eggs benny and a lil mimosa to kick-start the morning, you can get it here. The seating is comfortable, but don't sit near the back if you're a non-smoker. The smoke from the smoking section outside wafts inside and bothers diners seated towards the rear.

Sande's also gets pretty busy during season, so on those days we head to Scully's instead because it never has a wait.  Sande's also sells lotto tickets.
