Lunas – Good food, location, bad service

Luna's is an Italian restaurant on the beach (well, across the street from it) in Delray. Their tables are cramped together, and they have a band that plays certain nights of the week. I have heard that their brunch is better than their dinner food. The brunch may be a good choice for tourists wishing to dine near the beach close to their hotel.

When my husband and I went here (albiet two years ago) we suffered through slow and incompetent service, long waits for food and then forgotten silverware, and tables that were crushed together. We sat near a couple with a crying toddler through the whole meal at this "romantic" restaurant.

I would consider going back to try the brunch and see if service has improved. A friend said he went here for dinner 6 months ago and service and food were both good, but the band was loud.
