JoCa’s Gourmet Dawgs N Shakes
Meat in tube form, as Anthony Bourdain calls the beloved hot dog, is so tempting that it will bust even the most resolute of dieters. We shouldn’t regret these temporary lapses, though. It is our duty as Americans to eat hot dogs, flecked with ingredients both traditional and unusual. Whether you are in the mood for a dog stacked with chili, onions and mustard, or a more worldly Mexi corn-crusted dog, these gluttonous sins will be worth it at JoCa’s Gourmet Dawgs N’ Shakes.
You can’t go wrong with a Campfire Dawg, wrapped in bacon and drenched in queso, relish, ketchup and mustard. But I love the Mexi-Corn, wrapped in sweet corn with pico on a tortilla. I’ve enjoyed all the dogs and want to come back and try all of them. It’s nice to get some of the fresh made chips when you order or some baked beans, and Miss A has informed me that the shakes are out of this world.
