Fried Chicken & Bubbles Event, Aug 21 2015 in Durham, NC

Bubbles and ChickenTastings and pop-ups are really fun events to go to, and this one sounds pretty interesting, if your stomach is up to the task of consuming fried chicken, some southern side dishes and sparkling wine in one sitting.

Four-star chef Ben Adams (formerly of Piedmont) & whole hog barbecue man Wyatt Dickson have teamed up with RX Wine Lab to offer Fried Chicken & Bubbles on August 21st at RX Wine Lab in Durham. The evening will highlight a selection of seasonal sides from Adams and Dickson’s soon-to-open restaurant Picnic – a re-imagined take on a roadside barbecue joint opening in North Durham this Fall. Adams & Dickson will fry up some of the Triangle’s best chicken – first cured in smoked buttermilk – to be expertly paired with RX Wine Lab’s expansive selection of sparkling wines from around the world.
