I eat sometimes at the Chubby’s in Durham on Ninth St, which seems to have the same layout and menu. Their salsas and fillings taste good but I think most of their tortillas/ burritos are a little bit oilier and less substantial than I like. Also, everything I order falls apart! I’ve been trying to order the smallest stuff on the menu and it still completely disintegrates the moment I pick it up or bite into it. But for really quick, tasty hot food in vast quantities for not too much money, Chubby’s works well.

The Banh Mi was the most awesome part of our meal there, so definitely give it a try sometime! I wasn’t that impressed with the pho when I reviewed it, but the bahn mi? Oh yeah.

We saw this place on a TV show (the guy with the spiky bleached hair) and only wished we lived closer! We loved the casual confidence of the owner as she showed her restaurant and her creations.
We live 1500 miles from Baltimore, but we have family there and when we visit we will bring our bag chairs and enjoy the wait! Looks like the food is worth the wait!
